01What's the thickest steel you can laser cut, and does it differ for various steel types?
Our robust 12kW fibre laser offers versatile cutting capabilities:

02How big is your Laser cutting bed and your press?
Our cutting bed is 4000mm x 2000mm. We can accommodate for all part within this size. Our press has 230 ton capacity with the length of 4 meters.
03Can we supply our own materials for laser cutting services, and what should we know beforehand?
We primarily use our own high-quality metals to ensure compatibility and consistent results. However, you can provide your own material. Please let us know in your request so we can accurately quote up for you.
04 What are your standard tolerances for laser cutting and CNC press work, and how are these maintained across large orders?
We adhere to strict quality control for high fabrication accuracy. Our metal laser cutting in Melbourne and surrounds achieve tight tolerances (dependent on material), and CNC press work follows precise forming standards. Consistent accuracy in large runs is ensured through calibrated machinery, skilled operators, and rigorous quality checks at each production stage.
05 Which CAD file formats do you prefer, and are there any tips for preparing them for efficient laser cutting and CNC programming?
We primarily accept DWG, DXF, and STEP files for optimal processing. For efficiency, provide clean files with organised layers (explode text in 2D files if you want it to be engraved), closed polylines for cutting, accurate dimensions and scaling 1 to 1 ratio. For CNC folding, STEP files for 3D models are often ideal. Contact us if you have other formats; conversion might be necessary.
06 Do you modify designs if your CAD file has to be adapted?
